On December 11, Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) had raided a courier office located on Korangi Road and recovered a large quantity of crystal meth being sent abroad.

The anti-narcotics agency had foiled an attempt to smuggle crystal meth to Australia and London through a private courier company and seized the shipment.

An ANF spokesperson had said the drugs were concealed in two parcels containing curtains and women’s clothing. The total weight of the parcels was 27 kg, the spokesperson said.

The ANF had recovered a parcel containing 23.4 kg of crystal meth, while another parcel contained 3.4kg of the drugs set to be shipped to Australia.

ANF had said a case had been filed against the smuggler under the anti-narcotics act and started an investigation.
