The comedy movie Doolha Gang will tell a traditional chacha-bhatija story with a twist that features romance, humour, and lots of chaos. Ashutosh Upadhyay wrote and directed the Indore-set movie, and Anuj Kumar Ojha served as producer. Thursday saw the release of the movie’s first poster. Soon, the filming will start.

The tale of an uncle and nephew, Doolha Gang, is set in a small hamlet in central India. According to the official synopsis of the movie, the plot centres around Golden and his instructor uncle Babban. The plot of the story is around how Golden’s marriage proposal flips their life upside down.
Ashutosh Upadhyay, the project’s director, expresses his excitement: “I think there hasn’t been a family comedy film for a long time. Doolha Gang will appeal not only to the young audience but to the entire family. I can’t reveal much about the cast now but we have got many established actors lined up for this entertaining film.”

Producer Anuj Kumar Ojha says, “From the title of the film, you can guess that it is a fun entertainer. When writer-director Ashutosh Upadhyay shared the plot of the film with me, I agreed to do the film in the first narration itself.” Doolha Gang will shortly start filming in a number of sites throughout Madhya Pradesh.
