- Prince Harry claims palace is not ready to extend the same protection to him.

Considering that Prince William is the successor to the throne, Buckingham Palace’s determination to “protect” him is reasonable, a royal expert has stated in response to Prince Harry‘s criticism of the Palace for shielding his older brother instead of him.
Prince Harry made shocking claims that the Palace was prepared to “lie” to cover up for and protect Prince William but did not extend the same protection to him in a trailer for the second half of his Netflix series, Harry & Meghan.
He claimed that “They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
“Harry has provided the palace with many more controversial stories to navigate than William ever could,” according to royal analyst Kinsey Schofield, who responded to the prince’s explosive comments to The Daily Star.
“William is the heir. Of course, the Palace is going to protect him. Keep your nose out of trouble and nothing can be said about you. Look at the Princess Royal,” she added.
In addition, Schofield emphasised how the Palace had worked hard to create a positive image for Prince Harry, which had helped him enjoy considerable popularity in the UK. Schofield claimed that all of that popularity evaporated as a result of Meghan Markle’s actions.
“Harry was popular. Because The Firm worked very hard to make him likeable. If the Palace stopped protecting Harry, perhaps it was in response to Meghan’s bully allegations… or the fact that everyone knew that Prince Harry had one foot out the door,” Schofield said.
