GUJRANWALA: The accused in the Imran Khan attack case – Naveed – has been remanded for ten days to the JIT for investigations.
The case was heard in regard to the attack on Imran Khan during the march and the main accused was presented before the court.
On the occasion, JIT head Ghulam Mehmood Dogar was also present.
An interim challan of the accused was presented by the police in which it was said that the motorcycle was recovered from the possession of the accused.
Earlier, the suspect who opened fire at PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container in Wazirabad was handed over to the JIT on a 13-day physical remand.
A case of illegal possession of weapons was registered on the complaint of the investigation officer Anwar Shah after 26 days.
Police identified the suspect Muhammad Naveed Mehr as the lone shooter in the attack. Imran Khan had suggested that there could be two people who shot at him during the rally in Wazirabad.
