King Charles ready to shake hands with Prince Andrew

  • King Charles has reached out to his younger brother, Prince Andrew.
  • Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson invited to spend Christmas at Sandringham with other royals.
  • Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, children of Sarah and Andrew, would also join their parents.

According to reports, King Charles has reached out to his younger brother, Prince Andrew.

According to reports, the 74-year-old king has invited Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to spend Christmas at Sandringham with him, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other royals.

The palace has not yet made the official guest list public.

Phil Dampier, a royal expert, told the Daily Mail:  “This looks like an olive branch from King Charles to his brother, who is otherwise out in the cold. He is still a member of the family and by inviting ex-wife Fergie it looks as though Charles is being forgiving and kind.”

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, children of Sarah and Andrew, would also join their parents for Christmas dinner.

IBT asserts that King Charles’ offer for Andrew to spend Christmas in Sandringham does not imply that he is allowing Andrew to resume his royal duties because he is “forgiving and kind.”
