ISLAMABAD: Google delegation on Monday reaches Pakistan to hold talks with the Minister for IT, Ameenul Haq.
The delegation lands in Pakistan to have meetings with the IT minister, Federal Law Minister and the Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
The meetings will be held to discuss the commencement of Google operations in Pakistan.
IT Minister has been hoping to convince the team to start Google’s office in Pakistan. He said that Google, Facebook, and other social media platforms are earning huge revenue from Pakistan and the opening of their office in the country will definitely help them in understanding Pakistan’s culture and religious beliefs.
It is pertinent to mention here that the search engine has recently registered itself as a company in Pakistan.
