KARACHI: With the outset of winter in the metropolitan city, the cold has been increasing gradually in Karachi and the temperature is recorded at 19 degrees Celsius.

As per details, the cold wave is continuing in the city and some plains have also witnessed fog in the wee hours. Last night remain chilly for the residents and the temperature dropped low due to cold winds.

For today, dry and cold weather has been predicted by the Meteorological Department.

It further said that at present the wind is blowing in the city at a speed of 7 km per hour while during the day the wind will blow at a speed of 18 km per hour.

Notably, yesterday the meteorological department said that the weather in Karachi will remain dry for the next 3 days while the nights are likely to remain cold.

The department also predicted that sea breezes will stop and winds will blow from the northern areas of Balochistan and during this time the mercury will be between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius.
