Suleman Shehbaz responsible for money laundering: Imran Khan

LAHORE: Former prime minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday said that Suleman Shehbaz is responsible for billions of corruption and money laundering.

In his Twitter message, the former prime minister said Imran Khan said “If one wants to understand why the economy is destroyed, then the answer lies in only two incidents.”

The former prime minister said that 75-year-old Senator Azam Swati was subjected to torture in custody, he was beaten in front of his grandchildren.

He said that the house was ransacked and sealed, dragged from there. He said false FIRs have registered against Azam Swati, a complete violation of the Constitution and fundamental human rights.

Chairman PTI said that on the contrary, a fugitive Suleman Shehbaz came back dry-cleaned. He said Suleiman Shehbaz is responsible for billions of corruption and money laundering.

Imran Khan further said that the Prophet (PBUH) had warned how injustice destroys nations, and everyone should remember the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Suleman Shehbaz ended his self-imposed exile in London and returned to Pakistan after four years.

Suleman Shahbaz, along with his wife and children, arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and later reached Pakistan.

 

 

Suleman Shehbaz came to London after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) lodged cases against him before the 2018 general elections.
