KARACHI: Commodore Muhammad Hussain Sial has been promoted to the rank of rear admiral with immediate effect, the director general public relations – Navy said in a statement.

Rear Admiral Muhammad Hussain Sial got commissioned in Pakistan Navy in 1991. The rear admiral is a graduate of Pakistan Navy War College Lahore and National Defence University Islamabad and holds Master of Science degree in Sound & Vibration from the United Kingdom.

The admiral has an illustrious service career having vast experience of Command and Staff appointments. His command appointment includes Commandant PNS KARSAZ. His major Staff and field appointments include Director (Projects) MTC North, General Manager PCBRF, General Manager (Technical) MTC South and Deputy Managing Director (Support & Services) at PN Dockyard.

Presently Rear Admiral Muhammad Hussain Sial is appointed as Managing Director PN Dockyard, Karachi.

Rear Admiral Muhammad Hussain Sial is a recipient of Sitara-e-lmtiaz (Military).

On October 11, 12 Major Generals of the Pakistan Army had been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Generals, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a news release had said.

Those who had been promoted included Major General Inam Haider Malik, Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah, Major General Noman Zakria, Major General Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Major General Ayman Bilal Saddar, Major General Ahsan Gulraiz, Major General Syed Aamir Raza, Major General Shahid Imtiaz, Major General Muhammad Muneer Afsar, Major General Babar Iftikhar, Major General Yusuf Jamal and Major General Kashif Nazeer.
