Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed for the first time in their Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan, which premiered on December 8, 2022, their extremely private engagement.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released the first three episodes of their two-part Netflix series on Thursday, with one episode showcasing previously unseen engagement footage.

In the short clip, which appears to have been taken by Meghan on her phone, Prince Harry can be seen proposing to Meghan on an intimate picnic, surrounded by LED torches and white roses.

Recalling the joyous occasion, Meghan exclaimed in the documentary, “We were so joyful and excited, it’s like ugh, we’re doing this!”
In the video clip from the moment, Meghan can be heard conversing with her friend Jess and exclaiming, “Oh my god, it’s happening!” just prior to Prince Harry’s proposal.
The second half of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix docuseries will premiere on December 15, as part of the couple’s multimillion-dollar arrangement with the streaming giant.
