ISLAMABAD: The weather in most parts of the country is likely to remain cold and dry while the fog is expected in the plains of Punjab during morning and night hours.
The meteorological department has said that in major cities like Lahore, twin cities, and most parts of Punjab, KP and Sindh mercury will drop further. Moreover, Balochistan is also predicted to remain cold with dry weather.
Fog is expected in Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Rishkai and Swabi in the morning hours.
Meanwhile, fog has also been predicted at night and in the morning hours for Faisalabad, Jhelum, Lahore, Mangala, Hafizabad, Joharabad, Sialkot, Narowal, and Gujranwala.
The minimum temperature recorded today: Leh, Skardu minus 07, Ziarat minus 05, Gopas, Kalat minus 04, Gilgit, Astor, Hunza, Kalam minus 03, Shopian, Bagrot minus 02, Srinagar, Pulwama, Rawalkot, Anant. Minus 01 degree Celsius was recorded in Nag and Baramulla.
