Queen Elizabeth watched THIS show to pass time after Prince Philip

  • A 96-year-old woman loved watching the gritty crime drama Line of Duty to keep her spirits up.
  • But she didn’t like “mumbled dialogue” on regular TV shows.
  • With reluctance, the monarch followed doctors’ advice to slow down, saying, “I’ve got to be sensible”.

After the passing of her adored husband Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II tried spending her time watching TV.

Gyles Brandreth, a book author, claims that a 96-year-old woman loved watching the gritty crime drama Line of Duty to “keep her spirits up.”

But he also says that she didn’t like “mumbled dialogue” on regular shows.

Especially after the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh in 2021, Her Majesty grew frail.

Mr Brandreth writes: “The truth is that Her Majesty always knew that her remaining time was limited. She accepted this with all the good grace you’d expect.”

With reluctance, the monarch followed the doctors’ advice to slow down, saying, “I’ve got to be sensible.”
