KARACHI: Sindh Rangers and Police have arrested most wanted accused Abdul Baqir alias Rehman Chotu in a joint raid Orangi Town area of Karachi.

Sindh Rangers and police have arrested the most wanted accused of the Lyari gang war from Baloch Goth, Orangi Town while conducting a joint operation based on intelligence information. The weapon and ammunition were also recovered during a raid.

The accused was involved in collecting extortion from various businessmen and builders of Lyari. The accused further disclosed that he was also involved in the Lyari gang war and drug buying and selling for Rashid Chikna.

The accused has been arrested and jailed many times before, while raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.

The arrested accused has been handed over to the police for further legal action.

On the other hand, the most wanted accused Mustafa has been arrested in an injured condition in exchange for fire between the operatives of the Lyari gang war and the police in the Machar Colony area of ​​Karachi.
