Allied parties urge PM to focus on economy and reducing inflation

  • PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif has contacted the leaders of allied parties in the presence of PM regarding the country’s political situation and important appointments.
  • During the contacts, Nawaz Sharif discussed Imran Khan’s long march with Asif Zardari, Fazal ur Rehman, Akhtar Mengal, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
  • Shehbaz Sharif will take everyone into confidence by calling a meeting of PDM after his return from London.

 

ISLAMABAD: Coalition partners of federal government has demanded to the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to focus on improving the economic situation of the country and reducing inflation.

Sources said that Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif has contacted the leaders of allied parties in the presence of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding the country’s political situation and important appointments.

During the contacts, Nawaz Sharif discussed Imran Khan’s long march with Asif Zardari, Fazal ur Rehman, Akhtar Mengal, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

On this occasion, it has been agreed by the leaders that the protest long march is the right of Imran Khan, but there will be no compromise on national security.

Apart from this, it has also been agreed not to accept any pressure on the issue of important appointments.

On this occasion, the allies have demanded that attention should be paid to improving the economic situation of the country and reducing inflation.

Sources said that Shehbaz Sharif will take everyone into confidence by calling a meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) after his return from London  and it has been agreed to take other political decisions including general elections in consultation.
