Karachi: Sindh Rangers and police recovered two kidnapped children in a joint operation in the Chaukundi Shah Latif Town area of Karachi on Saturday.

According to the details, Shah Faisal Colony police station and Sindh Rangers conducted a joint targeted operation on a technical basis and arrested four accused who kidnapped two minor children and demanded Rs 50 million ransom.

During the operation, both children recovered safely.

Korangi Shah Faisal Colony Police completed the search for the accused in the Dawood Shoro Goth Chaukundi Shah Latif Town area while tracing the child abductors on a technical basis within a few hours.

Later, there was an exchange of firing between the four armed kidnappers and the police, after which the four suspects including the two injured kidnappers were arrested and the two children were recovered safely and handed over to their families.

The police also arrested Aqib, Abukar, Manzoor, and Umar. Two pistols with ammunition and three mobile phones were also recovered from their possession.

The arrested and injured accused have been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance while the other two accused have been moved to the police station.
