Bol Sets Record of Highest Viewership Since ‘Haqeeqi Azadi March’

People in ginormous number thronged to Bol News channel and its social media platforms during the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)’s long march.

Imran Khan, the PTI chairman, launched the “Haqeeqi Azadi March” on October 28 from Lahore to Islamabad. The march was cut short, though, when the PTI leader was hurt in a shooting incident in Wazirabad, nearby Gujranwala.

The majority of TV networks did not broadcast the historic march, which was poised to alter the direction of Pakistan’s history as it had evolved into a movement, due to a variety of constraints and pressure from the influential circles.

In spite of difficulties, Bol News covered the PTI’s march in-depth and in detail. Because of this, the channel received the most attention during the march, up until Imran Khan stated on November 4 that he would call for the march once more after recovering from illness. Massive audience was attracted by the channel and its social media outlets, which included Facebook and YouTube.

The YouTube viewership of the Bol News TV has touched a new height among all the TV channels of Pakistan as it attracted 41% viewership whereas the ARY gained 36% and the other channels only 23%.

It was made possible because Bol News prioritises telling the truth to the public despite pressure and coercion. Throughout the long march, Pakistan’s most watched channel had sporadic outages in various regions of the nation.

Bol News stated on October 31 that its transmission has been forcibly and unjustifiably prohibited throughout Pakistan. In Karachi, Lahore, and other places throughout the nation, the channel’s broadcast has reportedly been off-air, according to Bol News.

The transmission had been blacked out in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Maymar, Merewether Tower, North Karachi, Saddar, Surjani, Kharadar, Shah Faisal, FB Area, Gulshan-e-Jauhar, Nazimabad, Landhi and some other areas for multiple days.

PTI chief and former prime minister had, on October 31, paid tribute to Bol News channel for fantastic coverage of PTI long march, despite tremendous pressure.

Exclusively talking to Bol News, Imran had said other channels were tamed and threatened to stop coverage of the long march.

Once more on November 5, Imran Khan praised BOL News for its coverage of the long march.

While talking to BOL News, Imran Khan said that the coverage of BOL News during the long march was eminent.
