Frieha Altaf has played a plethora of roles over the years and still does now, including creative director of the Lux Style Awards, PR tycoon, and actor. It’s not just the sheer amount of labour; it’s also how important Frieha has been in ensuring that the performing arts framework continues to grow and improve. Could anyone else have completed this? Most likely not. To live in this competitive environment, you need a heart of gold and a robust exterior made of steel. She is both. Given the society she has been employed in for a while, I would contend that she learned those skills.

Beyond professional gigs, Altaf has been a single mom, supporting two children who have grown up and are now doing things their way. Frieha admits that while they have her unconditional support, she is letting them carve their own path. It is, in a way, about learning and unlearning from each other.
However, when Frieha Altaf started her own podcast called FWhy (ft. Humayun Saeed in the first episode), two things came to mind

Clearly, her guests feel at ease around her, which enables them to be honest with her. But is she slipping into the talk show rat race. Watching an actor-host interview another actor while the former is a guest on another celebrity show may be pretty perplexing. It is astonishing how much stuff we have for this design.

Why did Frieha Altaf feel that she needed to compete in this race?

Beginning with, “The difficulty in Pakistan is that we’re not individuals, you’re either married to someone or someone’s daughter, wife, son, or son’s wife, and you have to protect your family,” Frieha Altaf continues. As you become older, I’ve seen that you’re more able to observe and call things out for what they are.

She explains that all the tales Humayun Saeed shared with her during her interview were unheard of before in the instance of her first visitor.
