ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has termed inappropriate video of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Senator Azam Khan Swati fake.

The FIA in a statement said the obscene video which is circulating on internet about Senator Azam Swati has been analysed forensically and found to be fake.

“The initial video/ audio and frame to frame forensic analysis has been carried out on the viral video as per international forensic analysis standard. Initial forensic analysis revealed that the video has been edited and different video clips have been joined with defaced faces,” it said.

The FIA requested Azam Khan Swati to lodge a complaint with the FIA and share his concerns about the reason of considereing it to be authentic.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan demanded from the chief justice to take immediate notice of the Senator and PTI leader Azam Swati’s issue.

Imran Khan while strongly condemning the issue of Azam Swati said that Pakistan was created on Islamic moral values of human dignity, honour of the family & inviolability of chadar & chardawari. “What has happened to Azam Swati at the hands of the State has been a blatant violation of all these values.”

He requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action, “I call on the CJP to take suo moto notice of this.”

Imran Khan said that what the Senator and his wife have been going through is shocking and utterly condemnable.

On the other hand, PTI leaders including Fawad Chaudhry, Farrukh Habib, Shaukat Tarin, and other also expressed grief over it.
