QUETTA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan on Friday arrested two terrorists belonging to a banned outfit in Quetta, Bol News reported.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Zaheer Ahmed and Noroze Khan and they were sought in terrorism and bomb blast cases. The government had set Rs1 million bounty on Zaheer’s head and Rs0.5 million on Noroze’s head.
The CTD spokesperson said both the suspects belonged to the banned militant organization, United Baloch Army. They were involved in bomb blast and target killing in Quetta and multiple other areas of Balochistan.
The CTD spox said an interrogation had been started from the arrested terrorists and more arrests were possible.
On October 29, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan had arrested shooters of former chief justice of Balochistan High Court (BHC) Muhammad Noor Meskanzai.

Addressing a press conference, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) CTD had said that the murderers of the former Chief Justice have been arrested from Kharan district and he was identified as Shafqat Ullah Yalanzai.
He had said that the accused had confessed to his crime and had also disclosed the names of his accomplice. The CTD also recovered a motorcycle, hand grenade, and mobile phone from his possession.
He had further said that the accused used to receive orders to carry out operations from the neighboring country, however all the detail regarding his network in Kharan have been obtained from the accused.
It should be noted that the former Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Muhammad Noor Meskanzai was killed as a result of firing in the Kharan area of Balochistan almost three weeks ago.
