After Prabhas’s Baahubali, Jr. NTR’s RRR, and Yash’s KGF, Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has made him the South’s next big thing. The actor arrived in Mumbai today to discuss the action thriller, basking in the drama’s success. A blue shirt and mundu suited the moment’s man. Groovy shades transformed his outfit.

Dhanush, Prabhas, and Anushka Shetty, among others, have praised the project, which is now being praised internationally. AB de Villiers is the latest celebrity to praise the film. Rishab Shetty recently met him and tweeted a video with the cricketer with the caption,  “It’s a Match! Met the real 360 today. The #Superhero is back to the roots again to #NammaBengaluru.”  AB de Villiers exclaims “Kantara” at the end.

Rishab Shetty created and directed Kantara. In Keraadi, coastal Karnataka, a Kambala champion, Shiva, faces off against an upright DRFO officer, Murali, played by Kishore.

Kantara, a Hombale Films production, stars Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and others.

Ajaneesh Loknath composes the music, and Arvind S Kashyap is the cinematographer. KM Prakash and Pratheek Shetty edited the film.

Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi have also been dubbed the Kannada film.
