RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporter and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid said that the coalition has made the country Guantanamo Bay adding that even a jail is being established in the capital.
He was addressing a rally from his residence in Rawalpindi. The former minister said that he will keep supporting Imran Khan no matter what.
“We were fully prepared to welcome Imran Khan-led march and were waiting for them,” he added.
Sheikh Rashid said that it is the history of the people of this area who always raised their voices against brutality.
“I urge the people of Rawalpindi to remain calm and protest peacefully against the attack on Imran Khan.”
While touching on the coalition government, he maintained that they got nothing from China and Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, the whole world has condemned the attack on Imran Khan and termed it a conspiracy against the political leader.
He while terming Rana Sanaullah as barbarian said that he is pushing the country towards the verge of a downturn.
He also said, “We have hopes from the courts.” Adding that the economy is down and the vulnerable are suffering.
