- The Prince of Wales visited the Film Africa festival in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- Mo Abudu, the founder of EbonyLife TV gave him some advice on African movies.
- She told him to “Netflix and chill” and suggested he watch The King’s Horseman.
An eccentric admirer from Africa sent Prince William some advise this week. At the Film Africa festival on Thursday, the Prince of Wales—who is also the patron of the Royal African Society—celebrated black storytelling on screen.
William told producers that he is a great lover of African content as he talked about his interest in movies.
Another guest, Mo Abudu, the founder of EbonyLife TV and EbonyLife Films, has disclosed her playful exchange with the future King and shared the guidance she gave him.
Ms. Abudu described her discussion with William as follows: “He said that while he hasn’t seen many African movies, he would like to and that he’ll be watching The King’s Horseman.
“I said you must ‘Netflix and chill’ and he nodded.
