Zoom Video Communications service went down Thursday afternoon, affecting some of the many businesses and customers who have relied on it for meetings since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

According to data from the outage-tracking website Down Detector, there were over 16,000 user reports of Zoom issues beginning shortly after 2:17 p.m. EDT.

Zoom, which had a brief outage in September, said in a 2:33 p.m. website update: “We have resolved the issue that was preventing some users from accessing zoom.us. We will continue to monitor and provide updates as they become available.”
