Protests against the murderous attack on Imran Khan were staged across the country as PTI workers, supporters and the general public took to the streets and registered their protest against the nefarious assault on their leader.
Almost in every small and big city and town, protest demonstrations were held to express annoyance and anger against the attack.
In Karachi, the PTI workers and supporters held protest demonstrations in 16 locations including Korangi Industrial Area, Gulstan-e-Jauhar, Lasbela and Orangi. The protestors burned tires and expressed their anguish and vowed to continue their struggle for real freedom. In various areas of the city, traffic jams were witnessed due to the protests.
The activists and supporters blocked the Sharah-e-Faisal and staged a protest demonstration.
In Hyderabad, Tehreek-e-Insaf workers also staged protest demonstrations in Latifabad and city area against the attack.
They burnt tires and blocked the roads and raised slogans against the government and the PDM.
In Punjab, the PTI activists also took to the streets and recorded their strong reaction against the murderous attack their party chairman.
The protestors shouted slogans against the imported government and the interior minister. They set tires on fire and demanded for blood for blood.
In Hafizabad, the PTI activists held a protest demonstration against the murderous attack on Imran Khan.
The protestors said, “We will sacrifice everything for our leader. Imran Khan’s way is being used to get away. Thousands of lives will be sacrificed for their leader.”
They further said that the people of Hafizabad love Imran Khan with all their hearts and souls.
Punjab Bar Council has strongly condemned the attack and demand for the complete protection of Imran Khan and PTI leaders.
Vice Chairman Punjab Bar Council Syed Jafar Tayar Bukhari also demands the government to take notice against the institutions, which are responsible for providing security to the PTI chairman.
The vice chairman said that the attack on Imran Khan is a failure of the security agencies.
The murderous attack on Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf is a cowardly act.
He maintained that protest is the right of every citizen which cannot be stopped by such a cowardly way.
