ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted the certified copy of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) verdict in the Toshakhana case – that disqualified Imran Khan – in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and wiped out all the objections of the registrar.
As per the details, PTI has submitted a copy of the ECP verdict and the objections of the registrar were also removed.
Imran Khan’s representative, Naveed Anjum, also verified the biometric of Khan through Attorney and challenged the order of PTI Chairman’s removal as MNA.
The plea filed in IHC requested to suspend the order of the ECP to remove him from NA-95.
Earlier, PTI’s lawyer Barrister Gauhar reached the Islamabad High Court with a certified copy of the Election Commission’s decision.
Barrister Gohar again filed the petition after removing the objections of the Registrar’s Office.
Notably, in the previous hearing, the court ordered PTI to wait for the written order of the ECP and to approach the court after the removal of the objections by the registrar.
