LAHORE: Following the announcement of the long march by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan – which is to begin on Friday (October, 28) – a plan for the procession is issued by the party.
As per details, the march will begin at 11 am after the speech of the PTI chief at Liberty Chowk, Lahore.
Party leader Shafqat Mehmood, Dr. Murad Ras, Haji Fayyaz and others’ convoy and participants will join the gathering at the Liberty Chowk.
The march will then reach Ichhra, where Provincial Minister Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid will welcome it along with his workers and join the procession to reach Mozang.
At Mozang, Senior Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal will welcome the Azadi march and the workers will be part of the convoy.
The next reception of the long march will be held at MO College, Hammad Azhar will welcome it at this place. Friday prayer will be held there.
The long march will then reach Post Office Chowk, Dr. Yasmeen Rashid and Zubair Niazi will welcome the march and from there it will reach Data Darbar and party leader Asghar Gujjar will be waiting there for the party workers and stalwarts.
After Data Darbar, the next destination of the long march will be Azadi Chowk. At Azadi Chowk, Abrar ul Haq, Yasir Gillani and others will be waiting for the procession.
PTI Chief Imran Khan will also address the participants at the Azadi Chowk and the participants will spend the night there.
The long march will again proceed from Azadi Chowk to the next destination.
