A well-dressed man jumped from roof to roof 23 stories high goes viral

This is the startling sight of a well-dressed man sprinting across the top of a 23-story New York building.

The unidentified individual was seen running across the building’s awnings in central Manhattan, which is across from the National September 11 Memorial and stands more than 300 feet tall.

In a video, he can be seen wrapping off a phone call before beginning to jump between ledges in the rain and wind, shocking those watching.

As witnesses recorded the risky actions, the unidentified daredevil looked sharp in a suit jacket and dress shoes.

The video’s creator, Erik Ljung, wrote in his caption: “I have no idea what the dude was doing. Been receiving a lot of questions.”

When we first noticed him, he was already bouncing from awning to awning.

It appears that he made a call, took a moment to scan the area, jumped back in the direction he had come when we first noticed him, and then went into a window.

Even the building’s security, according to Mr. Ljung, “had no idea what was going on.”

The New Yorker’s antics coincide with a man being detained in London last month for climbing The Shard.

On top of the 310-meter-high structure, the climber, who is thought to be Adam Lockwood, captured a horrifying selfie of himself teetering.

Police detained Lockwood and two other guys for “creating a public nuisance.”

It was the second best day of my life, Lockwood wrote in a post on Saturday in reference to his act.

“Whether I have to stay in prison or not, it was definitely worth it,” said the offender. “I’ve been remanded to prison and am waiting for sentence at the end of October. Climbing the Shard symbolizes the end of my UK climbing and paves room for greater and better prospects for my life.”
