Prime Minister Imran Khan called upon media to highlight Islamic values based on respect for humanity and compassion.
Talking to Senator Faisal Javed Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said communication tools play a pivotal role in highlighting Islamic teachings, civilization, history and social values.
He said Islam teaches us to help the suffering and troubled humanity in difficult times. The Prime Minister said Pakistanis wherever they live, stand by their countrymen in difficult times and this spirit of serving humanity is the real strength and virtue of our society.
They exchanged views on promoting mutual cooperation among Muslim countries in the sectors of civilization, culture and arts. Senator Faisal Javed Khan apprised the Prime Minister about positive response from Pakistanis towards Corona Relief Fund. The Prime Minister appreciated Pakistanis regarding the fund. Earlier Faisal Javed extends thankfulness to the citizens for their generosity. He added that the Pakistanis have inspired many others to come forward and contribute in the fund.
Moreover Senator Faisal Javed in a tweet said after Dirills: Ertugrul PM Imran wants Yunus Emre (Aşkin Yolculuğu) to get on air with a dubbed version for the youth. On his Twitter handle, the senator wrote, “Masha’ALLAH so far Rs 1,493 mn (1.49Bn) hs bn deposited in PM’s Relief Fund during the 1st 15 days. Hats off to Generosity & Jazba of Pakistanis for contributing towards ths grt cause.With ur contributions u ve inspired many others coming fwd & contributing. #PakistanTheMostGenerous”
