According to reports, Vladimir Putin appeared in public while posing with soldiers at a military training facility and using a sniper rifle. A ‘body double’ was reportedly used for the visit.

The Russian president was seen participating in military drills, shooting a newly developed sniper rifle, and extending a cordial welcome to recruits on Russian official media.

However, rumors have circulated that due to Putin’s unusually cordial treatment of the military, he may have hired a doppelganger to do the job.

Sergei Shoigu, the commander-in-defense chief’s minister, joined him as he shook hands with the conscripted soldiers and wished them well.

He also disproves rumors that people who meet Putin must first undergo a two-week quarantine by visiting the camp.

According to numerous news sources that cited verified information from the Kremlin, Putin did not visit the Western Military District’s military training facility in the Ryazan region or check on the status of the training of mobilised military personnel. This was stated on the Telegram channel General SVR.

The movie, which was reportedly shot to bolster the newly recruited soldiers’ morale, shows Putin—or the lookalike, depending on who you believe—welcoming a training camp in the Ryazan region while wearing safety gear.

The Russian President “watched practical exercises” with the recently enlisted soldiers while donning safety goggles and earplugs.
