The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will not comment before the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) formally acknowledges India’s intention to forgo a tour of Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.
India won’t be going to Pakistan for the Asia Cup the following year, according to Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and president of the ACC.
According to the report, Shah told the reporters, “Neutral venue for Asia Cup is not uncommon and we have decided that we will not travel to Pakistan.” I’ve determined that we’ll play at a neutral location,” he continued.
According to a source, after the BCCI and ACC high-ups made their statement, the PCB won’t respond until there is official confirmation.
According to a trustworthy source, “PCB to wait for ACC’s official confirmation on India decision.”
Earlier, Cricbuzz stated that BCCI planned to include the Pakistan travel for the 2023 Asia Cup on the agenda of their upcoming AGM.
