ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday indefinitely adjourned the hearing on a petition seeking the disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief and former premier Imran Khan.

The case was heard by Justice Amir Farooq pertaining that Imran Khan has provided erroneous information in the nomination papers claiming that the PTI chief didn’t mention his alleged daughter.

However, the petitioner or anyone on his behalf didn’t appear for the hearing and the court adjourned the case.

Notably, a citizen named Sajid had filed an application seeking Imran’s disqualification.

On the other hand, Imran Khan got an extension in pre-arrest bail till October 31 in the funding case.

As per details, Imran Khan appeared before the court along with PTI leader Shibli Faraz. Special Judge Central Raja Asif Mehmood granted bail against the bonds of Rs 100,000.

It is pertinent to mention here that Imran Khan while making history has won six NA seats in the by-polls that took place on Sunday (October 16).
