On Thursday, during Pakistan’s second T20I match against England at the National Stadium Karachi, Babar Azam, the team’s captain, reached the milestone of 8000 T20 runs.
Babar was batting at the time this report was filed, having scored 90 runs in 55 balls.
It should be noted that England defeated the Green Shirts in their second T20I with a score of 199 runs.

Not only this but the duo pair of Babar and Rizwan also broke the record for the highest opening partnership in T20 Internationals. There partnership consists of 203 runs. Previous best was also made by these two batsmen 197 runs against South Africa.

Thats not all Babar Azam is now the most successful T20 captain of Pakistan as he won 30 matches out of 49 in his captaincy and lost 14 matches.
Previous best was Sarfaraz Ahmed with 29 wins and 8 losses.
