PAF continues rehabilitation and medical assistance of flood affected people

  • PAF  is actively undertaking medical, humanitarian and rehabilitation relief operations for flood victims of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab
  • PAF Medical Lab Collection Points are operating round the clock for diagnosis of widespread waterborne diseases
  • Moreover, 1,407 patients were also attended by the medical teams of Pakistan Air Force.

 

KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is actively undertaking medical, humanitarian and rehabilitation relief operations for flood victims of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab.

PAF personnel are extending their full support and services for timely provision of basic necessities of food, shelter, drinking water and medical assistance to the flood victims.

PAF Medical Lab Collection Points are operating round the clock for diagnosis of widespread waterborne diseases like gastroenteritis, dengue, malaria, cholera and dysentery in the flood affected zones. Flood affectees are being provided free of cost medicines and medical care at Field Medical Camps of PAF.

During the last 24 hours, Pakistan Air Force has distributed 17,960 cooked food packs, 250 water bottles and 1,730 ration packs amongst the needy families.

Moreover, 1,407 patients were also attended by the medical teams of Pakistan Air Force.

Earlier, Pakistan Army continues relief and assistance activities in the flood-affected areas of Sindh with full zeal.

The Pak Army troops are reaching every district and village affected by the floodwaters in Sindh. The flood-affected people are being provided with eatable items and rations by the Army personnel. The affectees are also being given medical aid by the Army Medical Corps (AMC).
