As per details, The total number of confirmed cases of novel coronavirus cases in Pakistan surged to 9216 with the death tally of 192.
In the past 24 hours, 796 cases emerged of novel coronavirus in the country.

The PDMA said that 49 hospitals in Peshawar given protective gear to deal with the coronavirus cases.
The protective gear included 4,171 protective N-95 masks and 100 thermal guns, said the PDMA.
Moreover The provincial authority said that 149,500 surgical masks were also provided to the hospitals, adding that the safety gear also included 30,000 PPEs and 1,750 safety goggles.
Meanwhile, the district administration in Peshawar arrested 290 people for violating the lockdown orders.
On the other hand, Punjab government has decided to open up departments related to the construction industry for limited hours to keep the industry a float.
Furthermore The decision taken by Punjab Chief Secretary Azam Suleman Khan to make sure that industry remains operational after it decided to ease restrictions on it during the lockdown.
Balochistan Lockdown
The Balochistan government has extended the lockdown in the province till May 5, said a notification shared by the provincial government.
The notification stated that restrictions imposed earlier will continue till May 5. The inter-city and inter-district transport will continue to remain suspended and a ban in public gatherings of more than 10 people will continue in the province.
