Shaheen Shah Afridi: When will the pace bowler return?

T20 World Cup 2022

Shaheen Shah Afridi: When will the pace bowler return?

  • Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, who has been.
  • In the United Kingdom for his recovery.
  • Will begin bowling one week from now, sources said.

Shaheen Shah Afridi suffered a right knee ligament injury in August while fielding during the Test against Sri Lanka in Galle.

The reports claim that National High-Performance Center (NHPC) bowling coach Umar Rasheed will fly to England the following week to oversee the pacer’s recovery and bowling drills.

When Rasheed returned from Dubai, he had already applied for an England visa. He’ll probably receive the visa the following week.

Shaheen has reportedly begun running and will begin bowling next week, according to the sources, who also stated that Rasheed will get ready for the pacer’s practise.

Along with Shaheen, the coach is anticipated to travel to Australia and will probably join the sports staff for the T20 World Cup in 2022.

The top bowler is on the T20 World Cup roster but will miss the seven-match T20 series against England.
