Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has decided to visit China and Russia after Britain and America.
As per sources, the Prime Minister will visit China in the first week of November. On the other hand, Russian President Vladimir Putin also invited the premier.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also been instructed to work regarding the visits to China and Russia.
Sources say that the prime minister briefed the world leaders on the Pakistan floods at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting and also focused on his sideline meetings on energy, agriculture and facilities for investors.
Earlier, the Prime Minister on Thursday met Russian President Vladimir V. Putin here wherein he reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to work closely with Russia to further expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of State, the prime minister said Pakistan was committed to expanding cooperation with Russia across all areas of mutual benefit including food security, trade & investment, energy, defence and security.
The two leaders discussed bilateral ties and exchanged views on regional and international issues.
