The requests for Mathira’s ban were upsetting because she was the only provider for her family at the time. She acknowledged Salman Taseer’s support during those trying times.
She was able to keep her work because he handled the legal dispute with PEMRA. On Shahveer’s podcast, Mathira spoke highly of the late Salman Taseer and appreciated him for his assistance at the time.
