The DMO had summoned the PTI chief to explain his position on September 9 over alleged use of official resources for his NA-31 election campaign, while the KP chief minister and provincial ministers were issued notices over participation in the public meeting in violation of the code of conduct announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan for the by-poll.
The Islamabad police on Saturday summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan again to appear before the joint investigation team (JIT) in the terrorism case against him.
The notice was issued to the former prime minister after he failed to appear before the JIT for the probe in the terrorism case against him for threatening Judge Zeba Chaudhry in a public rally.
The notice holds that Khan is on bail in the case till September 12 and the bail was granted on the condition that Khan will cooperate in the investigation and should appear before the investigation team at 5pm today.
“However, in this case, the former prime minister was not cooperating with the JIT and violating the condition,” the notice added.
