GUJRANWALA: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said he was removed as the ruler for he refused to accept dictation of other countries.
“I was pressurized demanding not to buy oil from Russia. I talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin that Ukraine war would sky-rocket oil price, so we need cheap oil. We had to buy two million tonne wheat. I asked Putin to sell us wheat on discount and he accepted both the demands,” Imran Khan said addressing a public gathering in Gujranwala which was showed in dozens of cities through screens.
The PTI chief said the rest nation knew that when he returned from Russia they held no-trust vote against him.
He said the leading political parties of the country had prepared their children for ruling the country. So they wanted to destroy the PTI through different tactics so that they could rule peacefully, he maintained.

“Jail is a meagre thing, I can sacrifice my life for the country against the thieves,” he said.
The former prime minister said his chief of staff was tortured and stripped naked.
He said never a nation went up until it broke the shackles of slavery. First of all remember that Lailaha Ilallah freed a human being, he said. “When you admit that ‘O Allah I will not bow down to anybody but you, it makes you free from any slavery. My Nabi (SAWW) brought the biggest revolution of the world in Madina,” he said.
“Though Quaid made us free from English’s slavery, but we are yet far from the real freedom. We have not attained the real freedom. The worst slavery is the one from which we have been free. The second worst one is when a country makes you slave without confiscating your land. The country remote-controls you,” he said.
Imran Khan said during his government oil was 103 to 115 dollars a barrel and now it was slumped to 90 dollars a barrel, but still the coalition government massively jacked up the petroleum product prices.
He said his government provided electricity and petrol at cheap rates. He asked what made commodities prices so high in four months.
He said he would give a protest call anytime and the nation should get ready for that.
“I have directed party workers to gear up at district level and when I will give a call the entire Pakistan has to get ready. I want my youth, ISF and women to get ready. What I have seen in five months is that the nation is prepared,” he said.
Imran Khan said if overseas Pakistanis started investing in the country, we would have so much dollars that its debt would be paid.
