Karachi-Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted very hot and humid weather in Karachi with maximum temperature between 36–39 degree Celsius.
The Meteorological Department said that the weather in the city will remain extremely hot and humid today while the current temperature of the city is 37 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be recorded up to 39 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department said that the heat is currently being felt at 41 degrees Celsius while the north wind is blowing at the speed of 12 kilometers per hour in the city. The Sea breezes are also completely suspended in the city.
The Meteorological Department further said that there is no chance of rain in the city for the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department said that strong winds with thundershowers are likely to occur in Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sanghar, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Thatta from September 10 to 14 and Lasbela, Kalat, Khuzdar from September 13 and 14.
Health experts instructed the citizens to avoid going out during the afternoon hours and to use water and fresh juices.
