KARACHI: Karachi has been braving unannounced and prolonged load-shedding in extremely hot weather that has made the life of citizens terrible, reported BOL News.
As per details, as the weather turned hot in the metropolitan city, K-Electric extended the period of power cuts in different areas of the city.
Load shedding continues in North Nazimabad Block W, Korangi, Liaquatabad, Gulbahar, Abul Sufhani Road, Pak Colony, PECHS, Clifton DHA, Qayyumabad and Bhatai Colony.
The citizens have complained that the power cuts are being done for 5-7 hours daily in the areas exempted from load-shedding.
Meanwhile, other areas have been braving outages for up to 12-15 hours daily.
Notably, the weather has been dry and hot in the metropolitan city for the past few days and the citizens have been braving the severity of the weather with unannounced and prolonged power cuts.
