Both sides are ready for an Asian cricket tournament. Pakistan’s final playing eleven will be disclosed before the toss.
Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, and Hyder Ali will bat for the green shirts. Mohammad Nawaz and Shadab Khan will spin and bat.
Fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf have joined. Shahnawaz Dhani or Muhammad Hasnain will start.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul will lead the Indians, who have outstanding pacers and spinners. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Jasprit Bumrah will not play. Both will be missed.
Six Asian teams will compete in the 2022 Asia Cup. Pakistan and India are in Group A. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh comprise Group B. Two teams from each group will advance to the September 3 Super Four stage.
Super Four final is September 11. Dubai and Sharjah will host cricket till Sept. 11.
