Well-known Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat broke her silence on working in Bollywood films.

During an interview, Mehwish Hayat said that I had already earned much respect and fame working in Pakistan that I did not feel the need to work in Bollywood.

The most important thing for me is self-esteem, when you work in Bollywood you don’t have any self-respect, said the actress.

Mehwish also further added that after working in Bollywood you can’t even attend the premieres of your own films . so if there is no self respect, we only get money and fame, then this thing is really unimportant for me.

Earlier, the ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ actress criticized a Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) leader for discriminating and violating Muslims.

She also said that the world has closed eyes on what is happening against Muslims in India.
