Turkey has confirmed on Friday (April 1) that 70 more people died from the COVID-19 in the country over the past 24 hours, rises the death toll to 425.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced in a media talk, The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases raised to 20,921 as 2,786 more people tested positive for the virus in the last day.

According to the details, 20,921 people in Turkey have been affected by COVID-19. 2,786 are the new cases and 484 patients have been recovered till now (April 1).

Earlier on March 26, Turkey could order the public to stay at home if coronavirus infections continue to spread, the government said on Thursday as it clamped down further on medical equipment leaving the country.
According to the report, The government announced such a measure for people older than 65 over the weekend, but not for the general public as some other countries have done.
