Even famous supermodels like Mushk Kaleem had to follow their mothers’ rules about what they could wear when they were young, which is something that all young girls can relate to.
In her most recent sweet note, Mushk wrote that her mother wouldn’t let her wear a saree because she thought that only married women could wear them.
The 27-year-old model posted a beautiful photo of herself in a saree on Instagram and wrote a note about how much she loves sarees and other things.
“Let me tell you a story: I wasn’t allowed to wear saaris. I’ve never worn them to a goodbye. My mother told me that only married women wore saaris. I would argue about it a lot because I always felt like an outsider at these events, with all my friends wearing beautiful, colourful saaris and me not following the dress code and feeling so bad that I wouldn’t even let anyone take my picture. I remember that I wouldn’t talk to anyone about getting ready to leave “she typed.

“I wouldn’t be excited. I guess it wasn’t that I wanted to wear a saari, it’s that I just wanted to avoid feeling like I didn’t belong. This picture took me right back to 2010. A 15 year old Mushk, standing in the Pochaji hall of Mama Parsi. Oh, well,” concluded Kaleem.
Mushk also has a business called Mushk Candles, which he runs. She started modelling in 2009 and has since worked for a number of high-end brands. Most recently, she won the Best Female Model award at the 20th Lux Style Awards.
