Pakistan has started to use more technology from the future, and yesterday they launched their first electric car.
This car, called the NUR-E 75, is the first electric car made in Pakistan. It is made by the Distinguished Innovation, Collaboration, and Entrepreneurship (DICE) Foundation, NDU University, NCA, Sir Syed University of Engineering, and the private sector.
The event was held on Pakistan’s Independence Day, which made the people of Pakistan very proud.
The NUR-E-75 has been shown off, but people won’t be able to buy it until 2024.
When it comes to working together, the battery pack was made at the NED University of Engineering and Technology. It has a lot of high-tech features.
Because the car is built so well, it can be sent to other countries. The Sir Syed University of Engineering makes the chargers for these cars.
The university is also making fast chargers to cut down on the time it takes to charge a device.
The best part is that all of the parts are made in Pakistan, and the National College of Arts is in charge of the overall design.
When it comes to its specs, the car can go 210 kilometres at 120 kilometres per hour after being charged for eight hours through a 220V connection.
Dr Khurshid Qureshi, chairman of the Dice Foundation, called this car “Made in Pakistan.”
He also said that the local production of a commercial product will get some funding through the Series A, B, and C funding rounds.
It’s a great step, especially since making a lot of cars will help keep the environment clean and save money that would have been spent on importing fuel.
