Bangladesh looses its winning streak against Zimbabwe

  • Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh in a one-day global without.
  • Over nine years with perhaps of its most prominent rebound.

Bangladesh was made to bat first and posted an impressive 303-2 at Harare Sports Club. Zimbabwe answered with 307-5 and 10 balls in excess.

Pulling off its equivalent third most elevated pursue. Zimbabwe lost its openers in the initial two overs and was 62-3, yet Innocent Kaia and Sikandar Raza both scored hundreds of years — accomplished in something similar over — to lead their group to win the first of three ODIs.
Indeed, even subsequent to losing 19 straight ODIs to Bangladesh, triumph was nothing unexpected. Zimbabwe won the previous T20 series 2-1, its first against a full ICC part.

Kaia, playing his fourth ODI, unintentionally ran out Wessly Madhevere while pursuing briefly single, and dropped Zimbabwe to 62-3 in the fourteenth over.

But he and Raza, in his 115th ODI, set about fixing the harm and counterattacking.

Kaia was dropped on 68 and 74 in the equivalent over, and arrived at his lady hundred off 115 balls. Two balls later, Raza got to his fourth hundred from 81 balls, the third quickest for Zimbabwe.

It was just the second time two Zimbabwe batsmen scored hundreds of years in a similar ODI. The last time was in 2004.

“Guiltless was splendid out there,” Raza said.”

At one point I thought we were somewhat behind the game, so all I was attempting to zero in on is to back him and let him that know if we stay here we dominate this match together, to attempt to quiet him down and attempt to urge him to play great cricketing shots.”

The splendid association finished at 254-4 when Kaia attempted to trudge Mosaddek Hossain across the line and top-edged to short fine leg.

His 110 off 122 balls included 11 limits and two sixes, and Zimbabwe’s objective was down essentially to a run-a-ball.

Raza polished off the match by pulling a Mosaddek conveyance for a six-over midwicket. Raza was 135 not out from 109 balls.

He hit eight limits and six sixes. Bangladesh’s innings looked a match-champ.

The main four batsmen scored the fifties in a single innings without precedent for eight years.

Yet, they batted somewhat safely thinking about every one of the wickets close by.

There were just two limits in the last three overs. Skipper and opener Tamim Iqbal, the main Bangladesh batsman with in excess of 7,000 ODI runs, passed 8,000 then was before long out for 62.’
