The NYPD wants the Jan. 6 committee in D.C. to investigate Rep. Lee Zeldin, who ran against Gov. Kathy Hochul in November.

Jay Jacobs, state Democratic Party chairman, asked the House Select Committee to examine Zeldin. He said Zeldin, who represents Long Island’s Suffolk County, supported Trump’s “efforts to invalidate the 2020 election results.”
