The Mega Millions jackpot is continuously increasing.
Since there were no winners in the drawing on Tuesday night, the original $555 million prize is now worth $630 million with a $359.7 million cash option. In the 20-year history of the Mega Millions, this is only the fifth occasion when the prize has exceeded $600 million.
The following drawing will occur on Friday, July 22 at midnight ET (10 p.m. CT). The prize would be the sixth highest ever offered in the game and the greatest since the $1.050 billion won in Michigan in January 2021 if won at the $630 million level. The astonishing $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot was won in South Carolina in October 2018, setting a new record.
