Authorities in Fiji have arrested and charged a man from Tennessee with killing his new wife. He however found dead in a hotel room after the couple flew there on their honeymoon from the U.S.

Christe Chen Dawson, 36, who went to the University of Tennessee and works as a pharmacist for Kroger, just married Bradley Robert Dawson, 38, who works in IT for Youth Village.

They married in Memphis, Tennessee, and went on their honeymoon to Fiji.

Chen Dawson’s body however found in a hotel room on July 9 at the Turtle Island Resort in the Yasawa Islands.

Bradley Robert Dawson however arrested for killing his wife. His lawyer recently informed Memphis that his client is innocent.

He however working with his legal team to get out on bond at his next court appearance on July 27 in Fiji’s High Court in Lautoka.

People say the 1980 Brooke Shields movie “The Blue Lagoon” filmed at the luxury resort. Which only admits 14 couples stay at a time and offers a private beach and horseback riding.

News stated Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, as well as Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, honeymooned at the resort.

The murder charge against Bradley Robert Dawson however brought up before Judge Sekonaia last week in Lautoka.

Because the defendant accused of an indictable offence, the court said the bail application and a police prosecutor’s request for a DNA sample from Dawson however  considered at the next High Court hearing.

Dawson suspended from Youth Village in Tennessee since his new bride died suddenly.
